Together Again!

Together Again! Our homecoming was filled with concern and great joy.  President Clark and I were thrilled to see loved ones but apprehensive about how we would adjust to a new chapter in our journey together.  We were met at the Salt Lake Airport by friends and family.  After a week visiting family in Salt Lake, we returned home to Chicago to unpack and resume life.   In August we gathered our family at Bear Lake, Utah for a week full of fun, acquainting ourselves with the grandchildren and just being together.  Scott and Mary Naegle graciously lent us their mountain cabin for the week.  Family pictures were in order to remind us of this special occasion.  Some day in the future our time in the mission field will seem like a dream.  We now move forward with this rowdy crew we lovingly call family!    The Koudelka Krew The Williamson Wonders The Clark Cadre The Cla...

A Brief Reunion

A Brief Reunion Remember these darlings?  They came with their families to visit us in the Philippines!  We loved hugging them in person.   Sadie Belle Koudelka turned eight and was baptized while everyone was together in the Philippines.  When we left on a mission, Sadie wondered if we would be able to see her baptized.  At that time, the idea was planted and a year and a half later it took place.  On the banks of Eco Park River in Gabaldon, Philippines, Sadie's father baptized her a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

A Tribute to a Beautiful and Elect Lady -  President Clark's Mother Colleen Christensen Clark January 3, 2015 [These are President Clark's thoughts as friends and family gather to love and honor Colleen Christensen Clark, our mother, grandmother and friend.] Brothers and sisters, I can’t think of my mother without feeling a deep gratitude to Dad and my five siblings who served and sacrificed for Mom over the past few years.  I have been an absentee son for most of that time.  Not a status I’m proud of but true nonetheless.  I thank Dad, Jean, Faye, Beth, Gary and Janell for ministering to Mom.  My thanks also to each of their spouses.  All of you have followed the Savior, as He taught, “ The works which ye have seen me do that shall ye also do. ”  I thank each of you for not complaining or criticizing as we have lived half-way across the country and then half-way round the world.  We are touched by your emphatic support for Sandy and...
